Three reasons why buyer demand is still so high in our market.
We’re still seeing high buyer demand in today’s market, and today I wanted to share three reasons that shed some light on why that is:
1. Buyers are motivated because of rising rates. Buyers have remained in the market to try and take advantage of rates before they rise even more.
2. Millennials are reaching peak buying age. There is a huge wave of millennials buying right now, as most of us have hit the average buyer age of 30.
3. Buyers want to escape rising rents. Rental affordability will challenge many people in 2022, so rents are a strong motivating factor for people buying their first home.
On top of all of this, we have a ton of buyers moving here to northeast Florida. The Jacksonville metro market is ranked as one of the hottest in the nation.
